The tortoiseshell pattern is even prettier in person, and the blade feels perfectly balanced in my hand. I've been reaching for it every single time I cook since it arrived, and it handles everything from garlic to butternut squash without a hiccup.

The tortoiseshell pattern really stands out on my counter, and it’s comfortable to grip even after chopping a bunch of veggies. Only wish the blade came with a guard or sheath, since I’ve got to be careful where I store it now.

The blade holds its edge well through a week of heavy prep, which is exactly what I needed. The tortoiseshell handle looks striking on my counter, though I do wish it came with a sheath for drawer storage.
