I'm a messy cook, so I grabbed this mainly for the full smock coverage, and the crossover back actually stays put when I'm reaching across the stove. The Liberty print is genuinely pretty, and after three washes in cold water it hasn't faded or shrunk.

The cotton canvas is a lot sturdier than my old apron and the smock cut keeps my shirt clean when I'm flour-deep in dough. Only thing is it's a bit warm for long bakes, but it wipes clean easily enough.
