Grilled a whole brisket over the weekend and the waxed canvas shrugged off every grease splatter without soaking through. The cross-back straps sit way better than the neck-loop kind I've used for years.
The waxed canvas actually holds up against grease splatter and stray sparks, which is more than I can say for my old cotton apron. Wore it through a full brisket smoke and it wiped clean with one damp cloth.
Finally an apron that doesn’t feel like a stiff board after three washes. The fabric is tough enough to handle splatter from a full rack of ribs, yet it drapes nicely and the pockets sit where I actually need them. I’ve worn it for every cookout this summer and it still looks brand new.
