I’m not usually one to obsess over a spoon, but this one’s got a nice heft to it and the shiso green color actually makes me want to cook more. The slots let water drain fast when I lift pasta, and it’s sturdy enough to scoop up a full batch of veggies without bending.
The holes are perfectly spaced, so it drains pasta water quickly without letting small veggies slip through. I’ve used it for everything from scooping pickles to lifting dumplings, and the color is such a cheerful pop in my kitchen.
Finally found a slotted spoon that doesn’t feel flimsy when I’m lifting pasta or veggies out of boiling water. The slots are sized perfectly, letting liquid drain fast without letting smaller pieces slip through, and the Shiso Green color is such a pretty pop in my kitchen.
