After nearly burning my forearm with a flimsy towel last week, these mitts feel like a proper shield. The thick padding let me pull a cast-iron skillet straight from the oven without flinching, and the fabric is sturdy yet easy to grip. The classic rhubarb hue is a nice bonus, but honestly, the safe

The rhubarb-red color is the exact pop my all-white kitchen needed, and the classic stitching looks great hanging by the stove. I grabbed a hot cast-iron skillet straight from a 450° oven and felt zero heat through the fabric, which honestly surprised me for how lightweight they feel.

These are the first mitts I’ve owned that actually feel sturdy enough for a heavy cast-iron skillet, and the fabric hasn’t thinned out after a month of near-daily use. The rhubarb red adds a nice pop of color to my countertop, and they’re still easy to grip when my hands are wet.
