Yosemite Bundle

I was worried the bundle might be overkill, but having both the guidebook and the waterproof map pocket saved me during an unexpected rainstorm. The pocket's seal kept my map bone-dry even after an hour of drizzle.
I was worried the bundle would feel like a bunch of random extras, but the rain cover actually fits my bag perfectly and the carabiner clips feel sturdy. Definitely worth the money for how much you get.
The hydration pack fits perfectly snug against my back without bouncing, and I've already used the headlamp on a dusk hike. Everything feels thoughtfully chosen for a weekend in the backcountry.
Already loving how the bundle includes both the day hike essentials and the camp set—having a single bag to grab for weekend trips is a game changer. The waterproof map case was a pleasant surprise, actually survived a sudden downpour without a single wrinkle.
The trail maps are surprisingly detailed for such a compact bundle, and the waterproof bag has held up well on two rainy hikes so far. Only wish the carabiner clip were a bit sturdier, but for the price it's a solid kit.
